This made me remember that South African lady that called out her boyfriend on TikTok, the next thing he did was post a video with the same “You my bm, I won” quote because she was pregnant at the time… She replied him with a video of her at the abortion clinic. She deleted that foetus.

Yesterday, I was sharing plates of food in my street. I met a woman and her two kids going to fetch water. I gave them three plates. She refused. I thought she was joking. She said, “They don’t need food. Monetize it for us.” I begged her to let the kids take it, after all, it’s Easter. She said no. “If they eat it, they’ll start craving what I can’t afford. I don’t want that.” I told her I didn’t have cash on me. She asked me to describe my house. This morning, she came. So I gave her ₦5,000. She looked at me and said, “Aunty, the food in that pack yesterday is worth more than ₦5,000 ooh.” Then she started calculating. “The malt alone is ₦1,200 × 3 = ₦3,600. Add rice and meat… that’s like ₦20,000.” She refused to collect the 5k. I told her to wait for me outside my gate. She has been waiting since. Walahi she will sleep there eh..

She died because help was delayed, denied, and buried under rigid rules. 💔 The case of Chioma Isabella Ajana, a 19-year-old law student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) in Awka, Nigeria, stands as a harrowing example of how rigid bureaucracy and a lack of empathy can escalate into a fatal tragedy. On July 9, 2025, a promising young life was cut short following a series of avoidable administrative hurdles during a medical crisis. The tragedy began on July 4, 2025, at the Elmada Hostel, unfolding over a few critical hours that ultimately led to Chioma's death five days later. Upon returning to her hostel, Chioma discovered she had lost her room key. This was not merely an inconvenience; Chioma was diabetic, and her life-saving insulin was locked inside the room.Recognizing the onset of a medical emergency, Chioma and her roommates approached the hostel mistress, identified as Mrs. Bright, requesting a spare key. Reports indicate that Mrs. Bright refused to grant access unless a fine of 120,000 naira was paid immediately. She allegedly cited hostel policy as the justification for withholding the key, despite the visible and escalating physical distress Chioma was experiencing. For approximately 25 minutes, Chioma reportedly pleaded for help while her health rapidly deteriorated. The hostel mistress remained unmoved by the urgency of the situation. By the time the door was finally opened, Chioma had already lost consciousness. The tragedy was compounded by an apparent systemic failure within the university’s support infrastructure. After being extracted from the hostel, Chioma was rushed to the university medical center. Reports suggest the facility was devoid of personnel at the time of her arrival, necessitating a transfer to another hospital. Chioma battled for her life in intensive care for several days. However, the prolonged deprivation of her medication and the delay in initial treatment proved too much. She passed away on July 9, 2025.The incident has sparked widespread outrage across Nigeria, leading to a closer look at the management of student welfare at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Subsequent interviews with other university staff members suggest that the " #120,000 naira fine" may have been a malicious or incorrect interpretation of hostel rules. Standard procedure typically ensures that spare keys are available for emergencies, especially those involving health and safety. In response to the public outcry and allegations of prior mistreatment by hostel management, the university has established an investigative panel. The probe aims to determine the extent of Mrs. Bright's liability and why the university's medical services were unavailable during a critical hour. The whereabouts of the hostel mistress, Madam Bright, became a matter of concern following the incident, with some reports suggesting she became unreachable as public outrage peaked. #CrimeNews #crimestory

My aunt left her abusive marriage 7 years ago. She had 3kids but was only allowed to leave with the daughter without the two boys. All attempt to communicate with them wasn’t allowed. But today, they suddenly remembered they have her number to call, just to inform her that her first son died last night. Crazy!! Some men are wicked!
