@WG_RumblePants @AatifNawaz Shame I don’t live in Kennington anymore !
English

@AatifNawaz I feel a may be “working from home” a lot lot more.
English

@WisdenCricket Highest ever score by an England wicket keeper and averages over 41. Shouldn’t even be a question.

I’ve been trying to think of 80s and 90s cricketers who missed out on the franchise revolution, but who may have been big money players (if they’d had the chance).
So far I’ve got:
Sir Viv Richards
Sir Curtly Ambrose
Courtney Walsh
Sir Ian Botham
Darren Gough
Graham Gooch
Robin Smith
Kapil Dev
Anil Kumble
Mohammad Azharuddin
Allan Donald
Lance Klusener
Javed Miandad
Saeed Anwar
Imran Khan
Wasim Akram
Waqar Younis
Who have I missed out?
English

@WG_RumblePants Smith. His record after 20 caps is fantastic.
English

@WG_RumblePants @lawrencegillies He averages over 41 in tests and has the highest score ever by an England wicket keeper. Suggests he is not too shabby !

@Property_Funder @LondonWelshRFC Indeed. I played junior rugby with a couple of the guys and Kevin Bowring was my prep school teacher !
English

@ChiefBarker2015 @LondonWelshRFC Some great tries. Hard to believe they were amateurs back then
English

Great memories @LondonWelshRFC and also seeing a couple of wonderful players who are sadly no longer with us.

Being tall helps you get more bounce, but you do not have to be very tall to bowl quick. It's like batting - being big helps you get more power into your shots, but you can hit powerful shots without being very big too.
