Last week, @BU_Tweets proudly welcomed back Mothers for Justice and Equality, @WeSayItsNotOkay, for their 10th annual Mothers Against Violence National Conference! This nonprofit is dedicated to eliminating neighborhood violence by bringing together mothers and youth through various programs. The conference kicked off with a welcome reception, followed by two days filled with powerful speeches, reflection, and celebration. It featured inspiring remarks from @mayorwu, BU President Melissa Gilliam, Boston City Council President @Ruthzee, and City Councilor At-Large @juliaforboston.
