MY INBOX: May 27 2023 I bought this cow when she was few months old for ₦70,000 in Shaki, Oyo State. I brought her home with just one hope in my heart that she would survive and grow into something great. The owner actually wanted to sell both the mother and calf together, but at that time I didn’t have enough money to buy the mother, so I took a bold step and bought only the calf. From that day, I put in the work learning, researching, asking questions, and doing everything possible to keep her healthy and strong. All the homework, sleepless nights, feeding, medication, and care are paying off today. Now she is pregnant and expected to deliver by October. This is proof that small investments, when managed with patience and knowledge, can grow into big rewards. Invest your little money wisely today, and tomorrow it will speak for itself. #CattleFarming #LivestockBusiness #FarmJourney #CowRearing #AgribusinessNigeria #ShakiOyo #FarmSuccessStory #SmallInvestmentBigReturns #CattleBreeding #PregnantCow #OctoberCalving #FulaniCow #FarmerLifestyle #OyoFarmers #NigeriaAgriculture

CAF President Patrice Motsepe says many African countries avoid bidding to host tournaments because they fear financial losses. As a result, Morocco 🇲🇦 often steps in, even for less profitable events like the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations or futsal championships. Motsepe said Morocco helps “save the situation” when no other bids are submitted. The country has strong infrastructure and a clear willingness to host. While not always the only option, Morocco has become CAF’s most reliable partner for filling hosting gaps.

Na God go help me. Outside work, na only football dey carry me comot for house these days. To think I used to be active in volunteering activities 10-15 years ago. Used to be active in several social, professional and religious groups in my 20s and 30s. Led so many committees. Once president/secretary of my primary, secondary and university class associations/committees. Great at mobilizing too. Now that I have enough time to socialize and also network, to do so dey hard me. Maybe using assistants and delegating work got me lazy.

If you haven't kpai someone or haven't risen up enough to be well-known to rival groups, you may be able to exit. Relocate. Destroy your SIM. Don't discuss it with anyone. From all indications, you are a newbie and have not done the things in first paragraph, so your case may not be too bad. But if you have done the things in first paragraph, you need miracle, because even if you exit or relocate, even after 15 years, they can still strike you anytime the opportunity arises.

@Damzyy10 Why do I have to pay for Adams sins? Do we all even come from Adam?

Yes, that makes perfect sense 😄. It’s really about the root of the problem,Adam’s disobedience brought death into the human experience, not just individual sins we commit daily. So when the verse says ‘the wages of sin is death,’ it’s pointing back to that first act that affected all humanity. Makes the whole idea of needing grace and redemption much clearer
BEN🤗@ChiefPEPESU

@AjeboDanny Context is - the wages of the "first" sin is death. Simple! Adam wasn't originally designed to die, but his sin (disobedience) led to his death, consequently the death of his offspring (us — human race). Thar verse wasn't just about our daily sins but the first sin.

Death comes for everyone, righteous or not. So how can the wages of sin be death?

If a senior man comes down to relate to you like you're on his level, do you still engage him like a senior man or as your guy? This man is older, rich and influential but calls me his oga or bro and I still address him with sir. I'm confused if I should start relating with him as my "guy" or keep it formal. A part of me feels if I keep things formal, he might no longer feel free with me. But at the same time I don't want to abuse privilege.

@AjeboDanny Sin brought death: not necessarily your sin but the sin committed from the beginning of time which brought the curse of death upon mankind.

Everyone dies physically, that’s just part of being human. When the Bible says “the wages of sin is death,” it’s not really talking about normal death. It’s talking about a deeper kind of death like being spiritually disconnected from God or losing that inner life and peace. So it’s not only sinners die, it’s sin leads to a different kind of death beyond just the body.
