Gambling? What a lazy, ill informed label. Another unnecessary own goal….. Come on! If we don’t get to grips with this fast the UK will only compound its lack of clarity.
When will we learn?
When will there be joined up thinking between the FCA, the Treasury and the Bank of England?
This level of self destructiveness can only be changed by thorough education - all departments need to be given the opportunity to learn Blockchain, Crypto and Digital Assets starting with the basics.
No amount of lobbying or other scrutinised means is helpful. Unless those in power opining (and there a solid number who do) understand what they are talking about we cannot expect rational thought.
