1/ Hey Tracie, thanks for the tag. Quick clarification: Chill Subs is an open, comprehensive directory — we list every magazine we can find so writers don't have to scour the entire internet for submission calls. Being listed isn't a stamp of approval. We list the good, the bad, and the ugly, so we're also trying to make it easier to spot and report questionable editorial practices.

@1funnyfarmAdams @Guestbookzine 3/ Guestbook's editors maintain their Chill Subs listing themselves, but they've chosen to stay anonymous to writers. That's their call, but it's also something we built Red Flags to highlight. We've added one to their listing and reached out in case they'd like to make a change.

@1funnyfarmAdams @Guestbookzine 2/ We just rolled out a Red Flag system to, uh, flag missing mastheads, excessive fees, questionable contests, and other sketchy practices right on a magazine's listing. You can flag issues via the "Report" button on any magazine's page.
