@HeritageFundUK 🧵3/4 Legacy was written into the project from the start & there are many areas that will continue & be built upon over the years to come – like the central Chilterns Farmer Cluster, New Shoots, Tracking the Impact & the Makers' Hub & Chair Network.

Celebrating CCC!🪑🍒 The project provided two 12-mnth traineeships with @chilternrangers This helped kick-start conservation careers of two individuals who planted 1500 trees, cleared ~400 bags of litter, installed 29 bird/bat boxes & more! Read more 👇 bit.ly/4h4wJQj

Our wildlife projects have made an astounding improvement to the central Chilterns – the equivalent of about 4,384 football pitches! The great work of partners, community groups, landowners & farmers has ensured we have left a lasting legacy for the landscape 🌳🐦

Volunteers have: 🦋 Surveyed wildlife 📚 Researched heritage 🏛️ Supported museums 🌳 Improved greenspaces We want to say a huge thank you to all volunteers who have been involved with the project; we couldn't have delivered all we have without you!

We've engaged 16,537 people through many different events, from guided walks, talks & theatre performances, to exhibitions & hands-on activities! “I was transfixed!” (Sour Cherry Soup performance) “I thought the conference was excellent." (Chilterns Women's conference)

A monthly makers hub has been set up at @Amershammuseum for local craft makers to network & socialise. Participants can discuss what support they would like going forward, find out about new projects & enjoy ‘behind the scenes’ access. Learn more 👇 bit.ly/40igh9n

CCC & @WycombeMuseum were finalists in @BucksCulture's Best Cultural Collaboration Award for the Chiltern Chairs Festival 🪑 We didn't win but were honoured to be finalists among such stiff competition! 📸 Anna, Caroline & Roz with Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Lady Howe.

Our wildlife projects have involved 164 farmers & landowners who have all done amazing things for wildlife on their farms.  The Central Chilterns Farmer Cluster will be continuing – a great legacy for the project! Learn more 👉 bit.ly/3UqvzF6

Our Tracking the Impact project has been hugely successful & we're pleased to say it will be carrying on!  This is a great legacy for the project – the more data we can capture about our landscape, the more effectively we can protect & improve it! 🐦‍⬛🦋☘️
