It will be an amazing story for a player who many thought that Everton was his ceiling.
Then managed to sign for Arsenal…had a few great years and won us the FA cup to get us out of a drought.
Now he’s about to get us out of another drought by winning the title.
People don’t understand that more than a manager he’s an Arsenal fan and will always be and that’s why it means more to him.
He deserves it like mad.
And he will win it!!

Arteta needs a Premier League title. Just one. He needs it to define his legacy. He is a key figure in the story of the Premier League and his path deserves to be written about in bold texts. I want that title for him, not just as an Arsenal fan but for a football person. I want to read stories of emergence of new ideas and generational change in years to come. I want to tell those stories too at the highest levels. Mourinho turned the Premier League around. Benitez did a crazy job at Liverpool but he’ll not be spoken of in the same light as Jurgen Klopp. It’s Arteta’s first job and he’s changed the culture of that club, which is extremely difficult to do. He’s stamped his influence and has been backed all the way. He’s fortunate. But he’s worked hard for it. Should Arsenal miss out on a league title for the fourth straight time, the direction of that story will take a long, arduous turn. It’ll be a story of what could be but never became. A story of hope that never was. A story of flying but never touching the sky. And if Arsenal win, perhaps more importantly for this context, Arteta, there’ll be a total shift in culture and how excellence is measured. Everything will unravel in a few weeks. Can’t wait.

Arsenal fans are partly to blame for Bukayo Saka’s current form. Saka used to be one of the most dangerous wingers compared to many players, and he was very consistent.
He was delivering back-to-back goals and even competing for golden boot with and won many awards at a point. His trademark move was running at defenders and cutting inside. If you allowed him to get to the edge of your box, you were in trouble.
Whenever he pulled the ball back to the edge, everyone knew a goal was coming. At the same time, the players around him were also contributing with goals.
However, this season when Arsenal changed their team setup, some fans started criticizing him for not passing enough and asked him to stop doing what he does best. This whole passing debate has affected his form.
Now when he gets the ball at the edge of the box, instead of shooting, he starts thinking about passing. That hesitation has affected his natural instinct to go for goal. As a result, he often fails to produce a clear outcome and sometimes just passes to the nearest player.
The lad is no longer fully comfortable because he has not been given the freedom to cut inside like before. We saw it in his last goal against Brighton and that is the kind of moment Bukayo Saka is known for.
Fans should appreciate that quality instead of discouraging it. In a way, we have disappointed him for the very qualities that once made him special, and perhaps we should also blame ourselves.
