Boasting a total installed capacity of 1.496 GW, the fully commissioned facility is projected to generate around 3 billion kWh of electricity annually. The output is sufficient to meet the power demand of 3.8 million households, while cutting annual carbon dioxide emissions by 1.22 million tonnes.

Compared with conventional counterparts, two such units at the Datang Yuncheng National Demonstration Power Project can save 208,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 540,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually at full-load operation. The conserved coal volume is sufficient to power 250,000 households for an entire year, striking a balance between green low-carbon development and secure energy supply.
