Today has been by far one of the hardest days. What started as excitement quickly turned into a very scary day. Liz suffered a total uterine rupture. Brooklyn stopped breathing and they rushed her into an emergency c-section. They got Brooklyn out so fast that I wasn’t even able to get back to the OR before it was already done. We were very close to losing one or both of them. Liz is doing well...but Brooklyn had to be taken to UK Children’s Hospital. She suffered a lack of oxygen and some gases from (something I honestly can’t remember) and a lot of stress from the rupture. This is a very difficult time, especially for Liz who is a completely different hospital now. We’ve been able to see our baby girl for a total of about 15 minutes. In true Novielli fashion, she was not happy about being on a ventilator and responded to my voice and touch when I finally got to see her. So positive signs. We haven’t had a chance to kiss her or hold her which is very hard. Liz is recovering at Baptist Health while I am at the NICU at UK Children’s Hospital. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, and pray that Brooklyn responds well to treatment over the next three days. 💜Brooklyen Grace💜

We used this exact process at Charleston Southern when I was there. It 100% changed our infield surface from random hops, rainouts, etc to allowing our infielders to trust their instincts and play the ball. You can do it slowly over time to save money. It can be done!!
