@AkwaIbomMuslim Yes for you that may be ok as long as you don't dislike it but "we" and "us", then this in transgressing the bounds of dua.
If your dua was "grant me a man who is satisfied with just me and does not look for another" then there is no issue with this due to natural jealousy.

islam in algeria is mostly based on culture rather than the real deen nd if u don't follow cultural practices (bid'ah) u're considered a bad muslim. i remember someone called me ملحدة cuz i said islam does not obligate women to do housework and men should help with them too

@utorkonto22419 @MarxistLuddite No he cannot? It's a simple enough deduction, it'd be compulsory for women to do chores if he had the authority to command her in this way. Obeying your husband means he's the leader of the family who makes the major decisions, not that he's somehow your owner
