The bottom line is, the rapture is just something to argue over. It doesn’t have any bearing on salvation. It doesn’t matter if we get beheaded. Faith in Jesus is the key.

@Chip10512266 @TimRayWV @TaylorRMarshall I read the Septuagint version of the OT, the version Jesus read (but translated to English of course), that has 76 books and 151 Pslams. I'm guessing yours is one of those post 1892 Bibles with only 66 books. So probably not the same.

The rapture is not in the Bible. The rapture is an invented doctrine that people believe because they are afraid of living faithfully to Christ while suffering under the Antichrist. They’d rather believe God just “raptures” them out of suffering and they get to skip martyrdom. It’s a form of prosperity gospel. Reality: No cross. No crown.
