Ngl Reiss I think that's a bad take. Let me give you an analogy. Imagine if 0 ping was a mechanic in an F1 car. Every year every team tries their hardest to get 0 ping but the min they can get is 30. Except for RedBull and McLaren. Who are the only 2 teams that have figured out how to get 0 ping. And because of this they are winning every race. It's just a head to head between those 2 teams every race every season. Sure the other teams on 30 ping are able to compete but they never win. And they know they won't win because they don't have the capabilities of 0 ping. Now imagine this going on year after year after year. Who's gonna win this season is it RedBull or is it McLaren..people ultimately lose interest it gets boring to watch and to be interested in. Everyone is fed up Seeing the same two teams win every year because of this 1 advantage of having 0 ping Now imagine if F1 implemented a rule where the min was 30 ping for every car. Wouldn't the playing field becoming more balanced and competitive for all teams to be in with a chance to win. Wouldnt that make it more interesting to watch. Wouldn't more people come back to the sport now that it's worth watching again. Now put this into Fortnite perspective.  The game is currently designed to be ping dependent. You have kids moving across the country to live on servers for 0 ping.  Anyone on 30+ knows they can't compete with a 0 ping player so they don't even bother to hop on the game. This continues for years. The game dies out. Viewership drops. Prize pools drop. Everyone is complaining online. How do they fix it. Same as the F1 analogy. Equal the playing field. Get rid of 0 ping. Make the min 30 ping. Those who've been dominating for years on 0 ping will have something to prove that "they didn't need 0 ping win". Kids who never had a chance to compete with the guys on 0 ping come back to the game because they too now have something to prove. It makes the game actually fun to hop on and play again. It makes comp worth watching. More people are playing more people are watching. Prize pools are increasing.  Fortnite is saved.  Think Bigger picture perspective here.

If this was something that was to be implemented, having it around 10-15 ping would make sense. A lot of the EU population is between 10-20 so 30 would make the game feel awful for a lot of people.

@JacobMvPR I get you but that really just cooks pros who are known for being super mechanical because they have to rewire their muscle memory to adjust for 30ms and really the difference is from 0-20 then from 21-40

🔥Fortnite Hot Take🔥 Introduce Minimum Ping. Have all lobbies in competitive be minimum 30 Ping. This was used in PUBG Mobile to give a level playing field when teams from North and South America were in the same league. This would minimize the need for players to uproot their lives to move closer to the server as well as balance the playing field. This would then allow for NAC/NAW to better be merged together and have a more even playing field. Just spitballing uneeded, unwarranted ideas.

@kxrr0 i would be putting mero higher if he was getting some top 5s here and there but he completely quit the game legit hasnt gotten a decent grands placement in 2 years and tayson is a 5x on eu which is absolutely insane but they were from ch2 when the game wasnt too advanced
