Apparently the first day we were home with new baby, my 4yo turned to my MIL and said, "Nana, I didn't know she would be REAL" Can confirm: real baby

Me: *gently shushes the baby while snuggling and bouncing until the baby is soothed* My 4yo: I SAID "SHHH" LOUDLY AND ABRUPTLY WHY IS SHE STILL CRYING We still have a lot to learn about babies

@RegretaGarbo My brother pointed out that this is like an extension of summer and I was like "it doesn't count if I can't actually go outside and *enjoy* it." This smoke can suck an egg

@keisisqrl To me, cursive is just letting your pencil be lazy on the paper while you think words, haha

look cursive is 90% guesswork anyway, I think people should learn longhand but I don't really think it should be an early elementary school thing and grading literal children on precision is just torture
