Voters deserve more choices than this.

Hardly surprising. The fact is, MN voters often “settle for the lesser of two evils” because MN’s ballot access laws make it too difficult for alternative candidates to get on the ballot. Let’s examine that, @KSTP.

Yes, the process is “surprisingly simple” for major party candidates. A relatively small number of Independent and minor party candidates will take a “surprisingly difficult” path to give voters more choices. Please sign their petitions!

The comments to Sec. Simon’s post are scathing. Had a Republican bragged about this, the other side would hurl their barbs as well. To restore trust, we need to start electing chief elections officers who are not aligned with either major party.
