I also do this, and if they have children I always ask about them. But If I could count the number of times I’ve been asked how a man is, I’d be rich. Not even my son aweh, it must be the man or nothing else 😂🤦🏾♀️

This is not necessarily true. While the process of olfactory habituation does prevent a person from being constantly aware of their persistent odour, you will likely notice any sudden changes in your own smell more than others, as your nose is closer than theirs to the source.
