Got it in my Akasa flight today ... Man it's amazing Earlier this month, when I was in the LOT Polish lounge in Chicago, they had some amazing polish milk chocolates at the lounge. Pure milk and some sugar, tasted like heaven. Me and my colleague wondered why don't we get such things in India. I just realized we get such things and even better in India, it's just that they are not in mass market.

Now here’s the math: 7g shot (vs 9–18g standard) No Brand Arabica at ~₹1200/kg → ~₹8 per cup Milk at ~₹63/litre (Delhi wholesale) ~150ml per cup → ~₹9.5 Total raw cost per cappuccino ≈ ₹17–18 So ₹49–₹79 coffee is absolutely doable at scale. The real play isn’t margin on coffee. It’s footfall, higher cart value, and retention. Sell coffee right, and you don’t just sell coffee — you sell everything that follows.
