i've mostly shut up since 2020 out of a disdain for further adding to the flames of online discourse on politics and socioeconomics. the internet is a horrible place, with horrible people, who have horrible opinions. that said, i never really stopped being "woke" all that time

as much as i hate everything this world is going to, i continue to be social, altrusitic, and hopeful. why? who knows. maybe that naïvety will get me killed someday. maybe it won't. it'd be fun to eventually, one day, live in a world where people respected each other again.
