Briannas poem was fundamentally amazing. The repetition and switching of the form was really cool and enhanced by the patient delivery. It was wrapped up as strong as it began making for a great listen.

Selena had a poem with really wonderful word play, the flow was great and the delivery allowed the rhymes and words to really sink in. The form was also really interesting to hear and felt a kin to the hyperactivity of ADHD.

Do you think if women and their general feelings in society were more realistically represented in media would it help stop catcallers from using advertising and social media representations as reasoning?

Is our societal fear enough for our government to foster paranoia like this? How would the united states, a land of voicing yourself and protest, respond to the rewriting of our controversial history?

In such a dictatorship, like the exaggerated and intense one seen in 1984, do you believe there is any hope for self expression? Or does this novel represent the effects on a nations population when limitless power is left to grow rapant?

Do you think this aspect is included to warn of the power fear has over groups of people and it’s ability to hold them down and become complacent in an inhumane society?

Do you think training cops to use non lethal weaponary to immobilize someone they feel threatened by instead of killing them would help the epidemic of police brutality? Or is this sentiment and corruption rooted too deeply in our system, requiring massive changes.
