Good news and bad news… The good news is Tim doesn’t have terminal cancer!! Bad news is, my family and I were taken on a very long, well planned, twisted ride…And you all were unfortunately passengers for part of it. We just learned that Tim was lying to us from the start. For 2 years, he maintained he was a USMC Captain who was combat discharged with Purple Hearts…That wasn’t true. I never questioned it because he came to me as a Christian (the son of a pastor—That part is true) and a decorated war hero. I’m so very sorry you were on board for some of this, as I know his story resembled many others, bringing up feelings of heartache and grief. As of now, he is heading east to be with his family in Oklahoma. We are not certain of any cancer diagnosis at this point. While his lies and deceit may test your faith in humanity—I encourage us all to remember the massive wave of support from America when a veteran we thought was dying, needed help. There are still good people in this world—He’s just not one of them. While we were just asking for prayers—Some of you reached out and offered funds during our “road trip attempt”—All of that money has been returned. If I missed you somehow please DM me. I have deleted the original thread as this man was providing a lot of misinformation. Little did we know #Cap2Con was actually a con.
