Wonderful concert by London Concert choir under Mark Forkgen yesterday. They used the acoustics of Holy Trinity Church Sloane Street to present a programme of Psalms from the setting by Gabrieli of the Jubilate Deo to the two piano version of Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms.

Igor Stravinsky's Symphony of Psalms is a choral symphony in three movements that he composed in 1930. The symphony is neoclassical in style with clarity restrain,. Koussevitzky commissioned it, named for the use of Psalm texts in the choral parts and is centered in the key of C.
