@adaizli11 Dearden is Brisbane's loss and an Origin player. Walker has been dropped once in 5 years, hardly in and out. Katoa is a star. Not sure what game you're watching. Gould says 20yo 7s don't exist yet they all were. He's a dribbler.

@Chookmania Dearden got punted by Brisbane. Walker has been in and out of the side and is still being questioned. Even Isaiya Katoa was dropped by Wayne Bennett. Halfback is the hardest position. Fans expect 20-year-olds to control teams like seasoned veterans, but development takes time.

The problems with the six-again regime are many. One that gets me, though, is that one infringement often leads to a second and successive infringements due to fatigue. A punishment is not supposed to induce further wrongdoing. It defeats the purpose, surely.

ROOSTERS MEDICAL UPDATE Daniel Tupou (calf strain) is set to miss time. Club didn’t give a specific recovery timeline. Cody Ramsey failed a HIA but given the bye week and as long as he passes protocol, he’ll play against the Storm in R13. Meanwhile, Mark Nawaqanitawase is back doing light running after surgery on a syndesmosis injury.

No proof but am convinced the Roosters thought they had to turn up to win with the middling Cows sans their 7 and best forward. I suspect they were also listening to everyone say how many of them were going to be playing Origin. On form I'd only consider Teddy, Toia and Robson.

@nrl_pa His natural position is halfback but he unfortunately hasn't got the game management ability to make it work. Thus we recruited DCE. He's not really working out at 5/8 though either because he's not a running threat. I think they'll let him go.

@nrl_pa I've thought for a while that he's lost his way. It doesn't help that he's been played out of position for 18 months. He wears 7 but DCE is actually halfback and Walker is 5/8. He both receives and defends on the left. He played the same role last year, with Savala on the right.

Sam Walker is not progressing. I’m not sure the game suits him anymore. Not fast enough, no hip strength(can’t break a tackle or the line) , too light and easily man handled. Weak long kicking game, spot defender, poor game management putting on low % plays at the wrong time.

@FOXNRL Be interesting to see how he goes. He hasn't actually played as a halfback since Keary retired, and he moved to across to the left side.

Love the way this guy busted the line in the lead-up to Toia's second try on Friday. Notice that he ran from dummy half? If he can do that, why isn't DCE playing him into the backfield every week? He's an unused weapon.
