Andrew and I got the big calf up and walking. He is stiff and sore from delivery but up and going. 426’ cow is giving him encouragement to keep standing and walking. Progress. He’s a big calf for first time momma cow. Gonna work out ok it looks like Need to see him nurse ✅

I know many won’t care, but it matters to me, 1,409 days sober today. Days I shouldn’t have made it through. And even now… it’s not easy. Some days still feel heavy. Some days my head still tries to pull me back.

Down in Kissimmee, Florida, a dog was spotted lying on the side of the road. It had been hit by a car. Osceola County deputy Josh Fiorelli was passing by when he saw the injured animal. The female dog was alive but was hurt enough that it couldn't move. Josh was heartbroken that such a thing happened. So he called for help then sat down beside the white dog and started petting it. Some dogs might get defensive when they're hurt, but not this one. It seemed to welcome the officer being there for it. Josh then put his jacket over the dog to keep it warm, as the day was chilly and the dog was wet. Says Josh: “She didn't have anyone there, so I decided to be that person.” The dog was soon treated for a dislocated leg. Carlos Irizzary was walking his own dog when he came across Josh helping the injured dog, so he snapped a photo of it, and posted it online. It went viral, and it was shared by several news outlets throughout the country. I woke up expecting a normal, busy day with my three daughters. My 6-month-old Charlotte had an eye appointment for her crossed eyes. The doctor noticed something unusual and sent us for an ultrasound. At the hospital, my husband joined me during the scan. As I held Charlotte, he saw the screen and said, “that’s big.” Doctors found a tumor behind her eye called retinoblastoma. It explained why her eyes couldn’t straighten properly. I felt overwhelmed, shocked, and full of questions. They recommended an MRI and possible chemo and surgery. All I ask is for prayers for baby Charlotte and our family. ❤️
