@TheScore01 Joe Shields can't live off signing Cole Palmer for ever. Too many people in positions at the club whereby responsibility can be passed on. Get rid of the lot, get the best person available to run the club from top to bottom. That would be a start.

They are not under-qualfiied. The fact is - and I've researched this - many of these have been working as coaches, and with young players for over decade. And we're top of the league under these "underqualifed" coaches. All conspiracies like this do is make fans look dumb.

@thc_cfc Totally agree. Nothing wrong with building for the future around a core group of established top level players. But they have failed miserably by expecting a team of young players to automatically grow in to world beaters.

@GeorgeSmileyOBE Have no issues with Joao Pedro as starting striker but the drop off from our starting attackers to options off the bench is the problem. No confidence in anyone coming on to change a game. The keeper and centre back issues are unforgiveable, so many awful buys.

Fundamentally issues.. They failed to address. 1. Four Seasons haven’t had the GK issue sorted 2. Colwill injury had a month to sort 3. Striker again four seasons to sort Every opportunity to do so but no, they thought better. Footballing malfeasance…

If you're really manager out after that, you're completely stupid. When are people gonna get through their thick skulls that we could have Pep in charge and it wouldn't matter if we have the same people above them and same crap recruitment.

@gusmears1905 They could bring on Kvara and we're bringing on Delap for Joao Pedro. The only other attacking options on our bench were Garnacho and Guiu. The drop off is alarming.

Future generations will study just how bad our recruitment has been these last few years. I honestly believe most of the people I engage with on here would do a far better job.

@gusmears1905 Matched them for large parts, but the keeper selection and naivety in the last 20 minutes is on the manager. An experienced, better manager takes this back to the bridge just a goal in it or even with a draw. Frustrating is an understatement

It should surprise nobody that Rosenior is making mistakes at this level. We didn't hire a top level manager with the experience you need for games like this. He may get there one day whether with Chelsea or another club, but he's looked out of his depth tonight.
