Northbound Highway 99 south of Belmont Ave Non injury crash blocking the far right lane for at least the next two hours. Expect stopped and slowing traffic in the area. @CHP_HQ 1045 am

Traffic 🚨 Alert SR 168 Beal Fire Road several vehicles are blocking all lanes of traffic due to snow and ice on the roadway. Tire chains are required for those traveling on 168 toward Shaver Lake. You will be turned around if you do not have chains. @CHP_HQ

Heavy Rain throughout Fresno County. Slow down, and expect a slower than usual commute. SR168 heading into Shaver Lake is experiencing heavy snow fall. Tire chains are required to be carried even with 4X4 or all-wheel-drive vehicles. Check weather reports before you go!

Caltrans has cleared the original rock debris from the roadway and is removing a second area of rockfall above Lodge Road. Conditions can change rapidly. Drive alert, reduce your speed and avoid flooded areas. Plan extra travel time and consider postponing trips. @CHP_HQ 9pm

Winter driving conditions in our mountain areas. Snow is falling above Shaver Lake. Chain control is in effect at SR-168 at Shaver Lake Marina. If you’re heading to snow elevations, carry properly fitting tire chains, and know how to install them. 10am on 2/16/26
