@elonmusk I finally gave up on it. It shockes writing software code. ChatGPT solve the issue Grokwas stuck for over a week in a single try. Cost more and does less. Sorry I will cancel my subscription soon and switch to ChatGPT. Cheaper and smarter.

Anyone have self-driving stats higher than this on their Tesla? • Miles driven by the car on its own: 2,013 • Miles driven manually: 0 15% city, 85% highway. Not a single disengagement. A follower sent me this of his Model 3 on FSD V14.

Why the Cybertruck flopped I was lucky enough to attend the Cybertruck reveal 6 years ago. I thought it was a joke when it rolled out but by the end of the evening I had pre-ordered two. The Cybertruck eventually had 2 million preorders and the design was iconic. Tesla was going to produce 250-500k per year and cut into Ford F150 sales. With low productions costs, no paint, and Tesla’s tech this truck would start at 39k. It was going to have an exoskeleton, ramp for an ATV, and a variety if other features. What happened? -The $100 / refundable reservation was not a good assessment of demand. People also preordered assuming autonomy would be solved and FSD would be very expensive. Lock that price in! -Covid / Inflation -The truck’s actual specs were underwhelming. Higher price and lower range. -The Cybertruck became the lightning rod for Elon’s journey into politics -Liberal buyers were not replaced by Conservative buyers. It’s amazing to see one sit on lot here used… for almost a year! It’s an amazing product and fun to drive but has become and will always be a niche product. The weird design had to be justified with a low price and amazing specs. A real miss for Tesla, a company whose EV products really peaked by 2019. What’s next? Robots and autonomy I suppose.
