While everyone in this community is rushing to redeem as many Gallery Case and Character Craft Stickers as they can before they get removed once and for all...
I'm silently stacking another interesting investment that could have the greatest total return out of all of them.
I'm talking about skins from the Graphic Design Collection.
And the best part? You don't need a lot of money to begin investing. Plus these skins are not getting manipulated at the moment. Their prices are still pretty low compared to other armory items.
Why? Because instead of investing in the most expensive skins from this collection, like the CMYK, I am focusing on the opposite end of the collection:
- FAMAS | Halftone Wash ($0.35 / €0.30)
- SSG 08 | Halftone Whorl ($0.39 / €0.33)
- M249 | Spectrogram ($0.37 / €0.32)
- P2000 | Coral Halftone ($0.37 / €0.32)
- Galil AR | NV ($0.37 / €0.32)
- MP7 | Astrolabe ($0.32 / €0.27)
I'm buying the Industrial Grade skins, IN BULK, through the Steam Market using buy orders.
The truth is I've been buying these for the past several months, slowly dollar cost averaging into my positions. My goal is to get at least 1,000 of each skin. 🫡
Now since these items have been marked as "Last Chance" their prices have gone up... but not to the same degree as other items. Why? Because they aren't flashy or desirable (at first glance).
But what the average investor doesn't understand is that these items are much more valuable than they appear.
What makes them so valuable is the fact that they are truly deflationary in nature. Once you burn them in trade ups, new ones cannot be added to the game.
Meanwhile the skins higher up in the collection can still be introduced into the game by burning 1-10 skins beneath them in the collection to increase their total supply. Are you following me here? 😌
If you still aren't convinced, just look at the total returns of previous Operation collection skins. The grays (bottom of the collection) gave the greatest total return.
📚 Lesson: Instead of chasing the items that shine, consider going after the items with the lower entry price. Because your entry price isn’t just a number—it’s your leverage on future gains.
💡 Bonus Tip: If you don't want to wait several years and want FASTER returns you can skip the Graphic Collection, and instead start buying the grays from the remaining skin collections: Overpass 2024 and Sport & Field. Once they get marked as "Last Chance", their prices will jump just like the Graphic Collection did and that is when you can sell to lock in gains.
