The Pope cites Lebanon as an example of peaceful “coexistence” between Christians and Muslims. Fun fact: Lebanon was literally created to be a homeland for persecuted Christians in the Middle East. And it was for a few decades. The moment Muslim invaders thought they had the numbers, they started a civil war that lasted 15 years because they didn’t want to live with the same Christians who made them part of the country. Thousands of Christians were massacred, Muslims became the majority, Hezbollah took over, and the country hasn’t known peace ever since. Lebanon is the first and ultimate example that coexistence between Christians and Muslims is quite literally impossible. It’s mind-blowing that anyone would use it as an example of coexistence, let alone the Pope.

The last time I visited Amsterdam was in June 2023. I ordered an Uber to take me from my hotel to Dam Square. The driver was a Dutch-born man of Turkish origin. We started talking about the immigration crisis in Europe. And with complete confidence, he looked at me and said: “By Allah, we will take over Europe.” I asked him, “But you were born here. You’re Dutch. How can you talk like this?” He said: “What unites us is Islam. The world must submit to Islam. We don’t see borders.” I tried to talk to him rationally about Islam, its historical violence, its authoritarianism, why it doesn't coexist in any modern society, and I shared with him that I was a former Muslim. He got visibly angry. God knows I’m not exaggerating, he threatened me. He told me, flat-out, that I deserve to die and he would do it himself. This wasn’t in Syria, Iraq, or Iran. This was in Amsterdam. A liberal, Western European city. Supposedly free. Supposedly safe. This is the consequence of importing ideology without accountability, Islam wrapped in Western citizenship. They may hold European passports, but their allegiance isn’t to Europe, it’s to a global Islamic identity that rejects your freedoms, your values, and your existence if you dare question it.

NZ First's woman/man definition bill has been drawn from the ballot. I respect NZ First. I spoke at their convention. They heard my full analysis. But I can't endorse this bill. It defines "woman." It doesn't fix "sex." And it puts "gender identity" into the Legislation Act for the first time. That's not the climb. That's a patch on the ambulance. 👇 Full analysis:

At the last election, Kiwis voted to stop divisive policies like co-governance, Three Waters, the Māori Health authority, race-based waitlists, and two different chief executives at every government department. We’re now winding these policies back, but all of this could be back with the stroke of a pen unless we clarify in law that the Treaty promised equality, not a partnership. Without clarified Treaty principles that write equal rights into law, Labour can – and will – use the idea that the Treaty is a partnership to advance divisive policies that make it harder for us to solve our shared problems in housing, education, health, and the cost of living.

𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐄 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐒 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐃 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐍𝐎 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐀𝐘 Melanie Phillips (@MelanieLatest) — former 𝘎𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯 journalist turned one of Britain's sharpest conservative voices — just delivered the most precise diagnosis of the West's moral collapse on the Israel question that anyone has put on camera. Her argument is surgical: the entire Western framework for understanding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is built on a lie. The lie is that indigenous Palestinian Muslims were displaced by European Jews after the Holocaust. The truth is that the Jews are the only people for whom the land of Israel was ever their national kingdom — the Kingdom of Israel under David, the Temple built by Solomon in the tenth century BCE, the Hasmonean dynasty in 165 BCE — all of it 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 (American Jewish Committee). The earliest documented mention of "Israel" as a people appears on the Merneptah Stele from 𝟏𝟐𝟎𝟖 𝐁𝐂𝐄 — over 1,800 years before Muhammad was born. Phillips doesn't mince words. She calls Palestinianism an invention, and she's not the only one. Zuheir Mohsen, a PLO executive committee member, said it explicitly in 1977: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘴𝘵. 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘡𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘮. That was published in the Dutch newspaper 𝘛𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘸. Not a Zionist outlet. A mainstream European paper. And the West buried it. Phillips hammers the point that this isn't a land dispute. If it were, it would have been solved in the 1930s when Palestinian Arabs were offered their own state and chose war instead. It would have been solved at Camp David. At Taba. At Annapolis. Every single time, the answer was the same — no. She goes further than most are willing to: Israel itself bears responsibility for the misapprehension. The Jewish diaspora bears responsibility. 𝘕𝘰𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘦. Nobody tells the West that the two-state solution is the answer to a problem they've misidentified. And the silence has been catastrophic. Meanwhile, the EU handed 𝐄𝐔𝐑 𝟐𝟎𝟐 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 to UNRWA and the Palestinian Authority (European Commission) — the same PA that funds "pay-for-slay" payments to families of terrorists. Germany's CDU just voted to 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞 all PA payments until they stop bankrolling terrorism and purge antisemitism from their textbooks (Jerusalem Post). One country in Europe finally noticed what they've been subsidizing. Phillips' closing line is the one that will stay with you: 𝘗𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘦𝘴𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘶𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘴, 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘦𝘴𝘵'𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴. She's not wrong. The West didn't lose its moral compass by accident. It handed it to people who promised to destroy it — and then wrote them a check. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭.

🚨 THE GLOBAL TAX REVOLT IS HERE Ireland is in total gridlock. Canada is at a breaking point. The message to the elites is deafening: You cannot "tax" the working class into poverty in the name of the climate. 🇮🇪🇨🇦 While governments push "green" agendas, the reality on the ground is: • Ireland: 🇮🇪 Hauliers, farmers, and fishermen are blockading Dublin and ports. They are demanding an immediate end to carbon taxes and fuel surcharges that are crippling the economy. ⛽️ • Canada: 🇨🇦 The "hidden" industrial carbon tax just jumped again on April 1st, driving up the cost of everything from fertilizer to food. Canadians are being crushed by a cost-of-living crisis fueled by radical policy. 🚜📉 The era of "Liberal" elites punishing citizens is hitting a wall of resistance. From the M50 to the 401, the people are waking up. PAY ATTENTION. This is no longer a debate ..it’s a survival movement. #CarbonTax #IrelandProtests #WakeUpCanada #EndTheTax

👍.. but he obviously thought we should know he was gay and vegan, he gave an interview about it, plus in the interview he identified as Māori - all these things point to him being completely ensconced in identitarian politics - which is total cancer. And on top of that he’s a co-governance disciple. The guy is everything that is wrong with politics.

🚩Act have announced the replacement for Brooke, and it’s a doozy. James Christmas is a lawyer, he’s gay, vegan (so far on brand for Act) and also identifies as Māori… his husband moved to Seattle to work for Bill Gates while he stayed here and unsuccessfully ran for National in 2023. For 5 years James worked as an advisor for that nasty piece of work , Treaty gravy train frequent rider - gay progressive : Chris Finlayson. Finlayson under National caused literally BILLIONS of dollars of additional treaty claims, and set into motion co-governance on a wholesale scale. Who helped him to transform the steam powered gravy train into a bullet train? Acts newest candidate. As Treaty negotiations minister Finlayson repealed the Seabed and foreshore act, replacing it with the Marine and Coastal Areas act, which allowed iwi to lay claim to the NZ coastline. Thankfully NZFirst had it as a coalition agreement to get rid of M.A.C.A which will hopefully stop more iwi land grabbing. James Christmas drafted M.A.C.A and worked with Finlayson on co-governance. Christmas IS Finlayson’s protege. In fact in 2021 Chris and Christmas wrote a book together : ‘He Kupu Taurangi: Treaty Settlements and the Future of Aotearoa New Zealand’. The book discusses the need for Māori mandates, crown redress, apologies, endorses co-governance, and defines the Crown-iwi relationship as a ‘Partnership’. It is quite the read, it’s total leftist activist propaganda, and it’s what James Christmas is all about. Act have always been an act. Just last month Seymour said he’d vote against any move from Central Govt to legally stop non elected iwi from voting on Local council committees - “that’s discriminatory to Māori” Seymour told a disgusted Michael Laws on the platform. Brooke Van Robot contentiously entrenched Tikanga into the NZ fire and emergency department, and now Act is wheeling in another, more capable Trojan horse. Do not vote for these clowns. It’s a very weird and twisted party at the best of times.

🚩Want to stop co-governance? Read this: Winston Peters and NZFirst warned NZ and National about the dangers of co-governance YEARS AGO. This is a decade old clip of Peters vs Chris Finlayson (at the time Nationals Minister of Treaty Settlements) This part is important .. in 2004 labour passed the Seabed and Foreshore act. Contentious at the time as iwi were trying to claim stretches of beaches around NZ. This bill was drafted to ensure ALL NZ would have access to beaches, and place the seabed and foreshore into “public” ownership. Winston Peters supported this bill, but only on the provision that it was placed in “Crown” ownership not “public”. In order to get NZFirsts support Clark reluctantly amended the bill and it passed. The reason why Winston Peters stipulated “crown” vs “public” ownership, is it closed the door to any further claims, and claims would unlikely succeed. In 2010 Key signed UNDRIP which Peters had blocked in 2007. 2011 Key repealed the foreshore and seabed act, and replaced it with the “Coastal Areas” bill. This bill was more consistent with UNDRIP’s principles. National also foolishly took away the “Crown” ownership clause, and now there are 603 claims before the Waitangi tribunal, which are costing 200m JUST to have the cases heard. These cases have constitutional implications and are pivotal to Co-governance. Act and National have no appetite or will to remove this law, and both parties have admitted this. Winston Peters, Shane Jones and Casey Costello are experts in this issue. Winston and his team know how to unpick this and consign co-governance to the rubbish bin of history. Watch the clip… Peters warns of loss of sovereignty and implications for the country. Finlayson calls the seabed and foreshore bill “disgusting”. Nationals David Carter, was an awful speaker, a life long hater of Peters and only marginally better than Mallard at the role. Finlayson became more powerful when Key made him Attorney General and now works as a lawyer for iwi claims. He is also a staunch supporter of Co-governance. Want to end Co-governance ? Party Vote NZFirst.

OPEN LETTER Hon Brooke van Velden @BrookevanVelden Minister of Internal Affairs Hon. Simeon Brown @SimeonBrownMP Minister of Health Dear Ministers van Velden and Brown, As the Ministers tasked with receiving and reviewing the Phase Two report of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into COVID-19 Lessons Learned (Te Tira Ārai Urutā), I am writing to you jointly to raise a serious and urgent complaint regarding the clear and demonstrable bias exhibited by Grant Illingworth KC in his role as Chair of Phase Two. During a recorded interview with former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on 7 October 2025 — months after the public submissions closed — Mr Illingworth made the following statement about the 2022 Parliament protestors: “We don’t want to make the Hilary Clinton mistake and call people ‘undesirables’ but it seems even as portrayed in the Prime Minister movie, which I have seen, that there were people who had virulent hatred for what Government was doing during the period of time, to the point where it’s very, very difficult to understand the motivation behind it unless you accept the idea that they were believing stuff that is just totally inconsistent with the science.” This comment reveals an extraordinary level of pre-judgment and bias. Mr Illingworth openly relied on Prime Minister – a panegyric documentary produced by Augusto, Jacinda Ardern’s favoured advertising agency – as “evidence” of the protestors’ motivations. He treated this US-edited film as a legitimate portrayal of events.  However, the film misleadingly depicts protestors mainly parading Trump flags (which were present for only two hours of the 23-day occupation) and uses footage of protestors’ actions on the day of the 2 March police clearance, while failing entirely to explain the protestors’ reasons for being there — namely, their opposition to vaccine mandates, job losses, and vaccine safety concerns. The film ignores the lived experiences of those directly affected and appears tailored for its primary US anti-Trump audience. It is also very alarming that a Labour Party propaganda film was influencing his line of questioning.  Prime Minister was seeded with $280,000+ of public money given to Augusto during the 2020 campaign as part of the Labour Party’s ‘broadcasting allowance’. As someone closely involved with the protestors’ perspective, as director of the film River of Freedom @RiverFreedom22 , and co-writer (with Siân Clement) of a book with testimony from many of those who attended the Parliament protest, #HeartoftheProtest, I can confirm that the Royal Commission was provided with a copy of our independent documentary. It offers an authentic, first-hand account from inside the protest. It captures the genuine concerns of ordinary New Zealanders who lost their jobs, their livelihoods and their trust in government due to mandates and policies they viewed as unjust and unscientific. The Commission also received approximately 30,000 submissions from affected individuals, many of them would have been supporters or protesters - their letters and other materials detailing the human cost of the Government’s response. These were at his disposal to review for six months. Despite all of this, Mr Illingworth chose to reference the Augusto propaganda film as his primary “evidence” of the protestors’ “virulent hatred” and alleged rejection of “the science.” This is not neutral inquiry. It is selective and partisan. Mr Illingworth did not appear to question Ms Ardern on the specific “science” she claimed justified her policies – for example, the assertion that 6,500 New Zealanders would certainly have died without the vaccine mandates. He simply accepted this narrative while characterising protestors’ motivations as irrational, hateful and anti-science. The Chair’s comments signal that he approached the entire inquiry with a predetermined view that those who opposed the Government’s COVID-19 measures were unreasonable or misinformed. This lack of impartiality fundamentally compromises the credibility of the entire Phase Two process and its findings. The Royal Commission was established to learn lessons and restore public trust, not to whitewash the actions of one political leader or to delegitimise the voices of tens of thousands of affected citizens. When the Chair himself signals a willingness to label dissenters as “undesirables” (while claiming to avoid the term) and relies on state-friendly propaganda rather than the evidence placed before him, the inquiry becomes worthless. I therefore respectfully but firmly request that you, as the responsible Ministers: 1. Immediately review the conduct of Mr Illingworth as Chair and the impact of his demonstrated bias on the integrity of the entire inquiry. 2. Consider the Phase Two report and its recommendations in light of this clear lack of neutrality. 3. Reconsider all the evidence of this inquiry with another Chair and individuals who can demonstrate genuine impartiality, so that the voices of all New Zealanders – especially those harmed by mandates – are given equal weight. Public confidence in our institutions has already been severely damaged by the events of 2021–2022. Allowing a biased chair to shape the official “lessons learned” only deepens that distrust. The Government has both the authority and the responsibility to act. @SimeonBrownMP @BrookevanVelden @winstonpeters

There’s a very funny thing happening on Twitter: by now, even the most notorious pro-Russian collaborators aren’t hiding anything anymore. They openly give interviews detailing how, in 2014, the FSB organized the invasion of a militant unit led by сolonel Igor Girkin after the seizure of Crimea, how they took over Sloviansk with funding from Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeev, how Russia directly armed, organized, and financed Russian militants and local collaborators against Ukraine in Donbas, and how it openly deployed regular troops without insignia as early as the summer of 2014 to save its proxies from defeat by the Ukrainian army and volunteer forces -- and occupied Donetsk and Luhansk. And yet, useful idiots and shameless corrupt “opinion leaders” still keep pushing the long-forgotten line about how “Nazi Ukraine” was bombing itself in Donbas for “eight years,” and that Putin unleashed the largest bloodbath in Europe since WWII to “protect the people of Donbass.”

In 2004, the BBC warned the Maldives were "soon to be uninhabitable," claiming sea levels were rising 0.9 cm per year and that 80% of the islands could vanish within a century. More than two decades later though, reality says otherwise. The Maldives haven't sunk, they've exploded with growth: 12 new airports, expanded international terminals, record tourism of over 2 million visitors a year, and more than 170 resorts, with 7 added in 2024. Instead of disappearing under the waves, this so-called "paradise in peril" has shown no statistically significant sea level rise since the 1980s, according to satellite data. Here we have another 'climate catastrophe' headline completely undone by time.
