Whilst I enjoyed #Supergirl, and look forward to seeing Alcock's return on Man of Tomorrow, it was riddled with 'seen it before' moments. Suffering from a poor villain, and the tired Gunn trope of needle-drop diegetic music (just give me a great score), it's a one-watch film.

Visually, in its black and white option, Spider-Noir is a feast for the eyes. Cage promised a lot from his cartoon cameo, and he delivers with a Bogart weariness, burdened with great responsibility. Great villains and a beautiful femme fatale leave me wanting more #spidernoir
