I wanted to get the full Mega era PC ETBs, but so far all I have are the Phantasmal ones. Missed every other set. I think if I miss out on Chaos Rising then I’ll just give up on that dream.

@MasterTainment I can’t murder a person, and a trillion dollars is an ungodly amount of money that I wouldn’t be able to wrap my head around. The whole scenario would just give me heaps of anxiety and I hate it, so I’m going with no and getting out of there.

Several very specific things need to happen in order for a large scale market crash to occur. 1. They need to print several “dud” sets in a row. Sets that only Pokémon fans will care about, but scalpers, resellers, etc can’t make any real profit from. This won’t happen this year. And probably not till Gen 10 base set… maybe 2. Pokemon needs to print so much more, to flood the market. This will happen, especially with recent acquisitions. But it may take a bit still to get the new printing facility up and running. 3. Interest needs to wane when the new generation is revealed. Also likely to happen because no one will know for awhile, which new Pokemon are the popular ones, so pricing will be in flux. I would say look out for a minor crash (a fender bender of a crash) earlier next year. And maybe a bigger crash (probably more like just a big slowdown) Fall next year at the earliest, maybe even early 2028 at this point.

The Pokémon card market will inevitably crash. I don’t know how or why, but likely within a year after the 30th anniversary. This would follow historical trends. With liquidation at its easiest, there will be far less true collectors. People talk about this event now, but will they be around to talk about it when it actually happens? It is inevitable.

I’m imagining our traversable board becomes an underwater skateboard of sorts, maybe pulled by a Pokemon like the leaks have said, and we just auto put on some kind of breathing device so we can logically stay under as long as we want. I hope for Arceus style catching everywhere, not just underwater. It’s been the best catching mechanic in the entire series.

How will we battle/catch Pokémon underwater in WIWA? Maybe this isn’t gameplay but still,will we only use Mons that can swim?Or will we be moved to the surface or seafloor to battle? Or maybe there won’t be underwater battles,& we’ll only be catching through PLA style mechanics?
