Have had several people reach out re: Maine (F) Justin Poirier and why he hasn't posted in the transfer portal. As was reported, he recently underwent surgery. Not sure if that caused a delay. But sources say he will be posted soon. No indication he's returning to Maine.

@ChrisBorgerding @MarkDivver It's been quiet for sure! I know they had initially linked Justin Poirier, JJ Wiebusch and Alexis Cournoyer to Wisconsin. It's been silent since the initial reports though. Maybe the feel Brent Solomon, Lucas Zijic, Chase Jette and Bruno Idzan are ready.

@icehockeystick Thought the entire experience was incredible, outside of the ridiculous bathroom lines. I think every seat in that venue offers a good view. Wouldn’t be oppsed to it being there every year. If you think Vegas was expensive wait until DC next year.

Two main issues with the Frozen Four in Vegas are just how expensive everything is, and poor in-arena management / just a poorly built arena (saw from my perspective but have also heard from fans). They started running out of food!

@kholm I thought the venue and the entire experience was incredible. My only really criticism was the bathroom situation. Kinda crazy how long the lines were constantly.

Not sure what the fan experience was like but I’ve been the on site engineer for UND Radio at the Frozen Four since 2007 and this was the best building I’ve worked in. Staff was super helpful and attentive when I had questions or issues.

@UWMadison @BadgerMHockey Why is everyone so happy to lose. Making it back to a championship game appears to be a longshot. The Badgers basketball program has proven that. The transfer portal will most likely hurt this team. Hauser gave up the lead after 47 minutes. Tough loss.

North Dakota has finished off a 5-0 victory over Quinnipiac in the Sioux Falls regional final. It'll be Wisconsin against North Dakota in the Frozen Four semifinals in Las Vegas on April 9, and I hope the T-Mobile Arena beer vendors are going to be ready.
