I've reprinted the book as the publishing company stopped and it was out of print. I did ask for permission
It's exactly the same. All the mistakes are still included. It's sort of the story of the band but it isn't. I can't really say for sure

@janemerrow this is 44 years late but thank you so much for The Appointment. I saw it just the once and it has stayed with me. What an odd, brilliant and unsettling film. I wish the director had had more chance to make more films. But I am grateful that he made this one. xx

This woman claims to be a farmer but also claims that there is a food shortage in Britain. If that were true, wouldn't a real UK farmer be trying to think of ways to produce more food. Rather than complaining that she can't buy out of season Italian fruit in her local Waitrose.
