As Chair of Orbis Education Trust, I was invited by Dan York, Northamptonshire Headteacher of the Year. To attend Christmas Lunch Day, including a musical show performed by the children, at Hunsbury Park Primary School. Magical !

Fiona is at the London Palladium this evening and look what she found, a poster of her Grandad’s 1961 Palladium pantomime, Little Old King Cole !

In my role as Chair of the Trust Board I am delighted to be signing all the necessary paperwork to allow Hunsbury Park Primary School to become part of Orbis Education Trust. It’s been quite a journey and we now look forward to working with our new colleagues ! #education

@ChrisDrake100 I was at YOU magazine at the Mail On Sunday in the 80s when it was a proper magazine, under the editorship of the late, great Nick Gordon - not thidentikit fashion nonsense it is now- and we interviewed your dad for a cover feature: he was dressed as a cherub! Brilliant picture.

Few images cry out more, the best of British film making. Richard Attenborough, Bryan Forbes et al, during production of The League of Gentlemen, at Pinewood in 1959. When I interviewed Lord A, I was delighted to see this picture framed up on his wall. One of his favourites too.

The Open always reminds me of my father, Charlie Drake and his love of golf. He played regularly, gaining a 6 handicap and becoming captain of the Variety Club Golfing Society. Here he is practicing his chipping on the set of 'Sands of the Desert' at Elstree Studios back in 1960.

“Hello My Darlings” To mark his centenary, BBC FOUR TV are running a Charlie Drake tribute on Sunday 15th June. 8.00pm ‘This Is Your Life ‘ 8.30pm ‘The Charlie Drake Show’ 9.00pm ‘Arena - Drake’s Progress’ I make a short appearance in two of them but don’t let that put you off!
