We're learning that the web of connections likely goes deep into Recovery Alberta contracts too... But who knows??? Our Premier seems content with giving out 100s of MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars without following standard procurement processes (as found by Judge Wyant) 2/3

WOW! There have long been rumors that Danielle Smith recieved the gift of a solid gold cat a few years ago... Today, Nenshi called her out on that & luxury watches as well. None of which Smith denied! Instead she hid behind the ethics laws she rewrote and gutted.

This is why they want to replace the RCMP with a police force they control. And decide what crimes get prosecuted. AND decide who gets to be a Judge. #ableg #abpoli

It would be wonderful if more information about the contracts in Recovery AB would start to trickle out... lots of rumours that backroom sole source contracts abound there too... but who knows??? Is it any wonder that the Premier won't call for a Public Inquiry???? 4/4

Interestingly enough however, she admitted that she took several private jet trips paid for by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia last year. She also revealed that she plans to develop a new intelligence agency through the Alberta Sherriff’s police service. /3

I believe Alberta is the only province who uses public funds for private schools. Education is a right. Private is a privilege. Smith funnels more money to the wealthy than to benefit all Albertans. I’m betting MLAs with children will get free tuition for this.
Alli Girl 💁🏼‍♀️@AlliAlliG

@miket136 Maybe if we stopped funding private schools the public system could be properly funded to support all students.

More taxpayer welfare for private schools. Private schools should be cut off public funding and pay taxes like any other business. Every country with two-tier education has shitty public schools for the working majority and expensive private schools for the rich and bigots.

I’m so tired of politicians trying to save face by pretending it’s “both sides.” You either stand for international law and humanity or you don’t. This man should resign.

The Alberta Energy Regulator needs to be a regulator - not a political arm with the Premier’s friends and insiders. The minister tells me they "don't hire friends." Well, that's not what public record tells us. My office regularly receives desperate pleas for help from landowners. Alberta is facing a crisis in oil and gas liabilities’ cleanup. Instead of keeping promises to Alberta landowners, many companies declare bankruptcy after they’ve made profits, leaving massive junk wells on private lands. Many companies respect landowners, but there are bad actors. The regulator has the power to stop bad actors, but the UCP continuous political interference in the AER isn’t helping. There are good technical folks working in the regulator and they want to do the right thing. Let them do their jobs. Albertans deserve a regulator that’s independent, transparent, and focused on protecting Albertans and the public interest. #ableg #abpoli
