@IanSpeedHQ People never forget kind words. Covid break, the class rep posted a vid of him & his mum making garri. sent him a DM that I love that he posted his mum's work proudly. I didn't know that people sent him texts making fun of him. He told me this year when I saw him. I was moved

in 2017 a nobody typed a prayer under Osimhen’s tweet. no followers. no clout. nothing to gain. just genuine belief in a young boy with a dream. “I pray you’ll excel among your contemporaries. The Lord will raise you above Messi and Ronaldo.” nine years passed. Osimhen never forgot. when the tweet resurfaced he didn’t just like it and move on. he found the man. called him personally. spoke for an hour. then flew him to Istanbul to watch him play. two kind people finding each other across nine years. one believed when nobody was watching. one remembered when he didn’t have to. that’s the story. your kind words never really disappear.

The management of Oau is short sighted. As a federal uni, the government can't fund you in a way that makes you scale this is why most federal unis are not improving, you need other sources..students & alumni... These are the students you're treating anyhow, they'll never forget

In Africa (Nigeria specifically) we like to beat confidence out of the little ones. You beat out the confidence & boldness in the ones that you have been given responsibility to steward towards actually becoming something.

@aojjustaoj This is the peak protest imo. The culture of sending students home because they made their agitations clear must be cancelled.

@Hon_aremo Is the protest to cancel the new transport system totally? Or bring new buses? Or bring back town buses and bikes? The circular said demands, what are the demands that were made?

A protest is not just noise; it is a message. And the power of that message is strongest when it cannot be discredited. Tomorrow, we show up; not as a mob, but as a movement. Not with chaos, but with clarity. Not with violence, but with discipline. History is clear: the moment a peaceful protest turns violent, the narrative shifts from the injustice being protested to the behavior of the protesters. And just like that, the real issue gets buried. We cannot afford that. Non-violence is not weakness; it is strategy. It is control. It is the ability to stand in the face of provocation and still choose purpose over impulse. Let them see our numbers. Let them hear our voices. But most importantly, let them have no excuse to ignore our message. Protect each other. Stay focused. Document everything. Be intentional. Tomorrow is not just about showing anger; it’s about showing maturity, unity, and undeniable resolve. We move. Peacefully. ✊ @aojjustaoj @StudentByNature @mordant_pearl @staydowndustin @sxxftboydapzyy @graceis_cute @GOlarinade @BoluwatifeMk

One of the ways you know your quality as a person is by checking the quality of things that catches your attention from time to time.

Its a people problem. The students are to blame as much as the government. Remove the students here, take them to Norway, renovate this place, put Norwegian/Japanese students here then check back after 6 months. Norwegian University will be like this while this one wouldn't.

This is male hostel for University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). Eni Njoku hostel to be precise. Every student in this hostel is living worst than prisoners. We can’t continue this way.

@loner_blvd This is the first time in my life where I would speak on the SU. Most people just want to be leaders for the record, not for impacts. Feels like "Awa lo kan". Leadership is not occupying a position, it is making outstanding contributions. Boycott, lol

The 72-hour class boycott has ended, yet student movement remains a major challenge. In fact, CNG bus fares have increased from ₦100 to ₦200. So, What exactly did the boycott achieve?

@GOlarinade They just form coalitions and switch allegiances, rebrand. And one of the thing that does is that it gives no room for diversity of thoughts and ideologies. They now have to think alike because they are in the same party. No freshness or newness whatsoever

Omohh... We don't even have new politicians in Nigeria. These ones we've been hearing about since primary school, they are the ones still there. 🤦

Your Excellency @SenRemiTinubu, we appreciate the CNG bus initiative, but it has not been favorable to the generality of Great Ife students. Within just 17 days, transport fares have doubled and even tripled, despite initial assurances that costs would be minimal.

@Victor_Webflow The country is not beyond fixing..... Sadly there's discouragement & hurt ruining the chances of this happening. If I spit on your food, you'll leave it cos I've messed it up....Some leaders have messed it up for us and some of us have withdrawn ourselves

Had a conversation yesterday and the guy said my best bet is to leave Nigeria. So I asked him, what happens to the people I can’t take along? Or we’ve all agreed the country is beyond fixing?
