@_Murf True, but I would add that the buyer's remorse likely caused them to look at that long-term prognosis differently. Trey Hendrickson was cheaper than they thought, Raiders poached their center, etc.

Sounds to me like two things are true.
The long term prognosis on the knee isn't great AND the Ravens got buyers remorse.
Twitter doesn't do "two things can be true" very well but bet that's what happened.

Ravens and Trey Hendrickson reached agreement on a four-year, $112 million contract.

@ChrisHansenNFL If it was just Baltimore being scammers and backing out that would be one thing. The Cowboys surgeon that everybody around the NFL uses being part of the physical, and Dallas being out on Crosby now, makes me think something must be seriously wrong with his medicals.

The #Raiders still hold all the leverage. Spytek knows the real deadline is the draft. After that, you start repairing the relationship while still listening to offers. Crosby has to show up if the right deal doesn't come along.

Raiders already have received calls from “several” teams inquiring about the availability of Maxx Crosby in a trade, per source. For now the Raiders are prepared to get Crosby healthy and have him play for Las Vegas. But they are listening to other teams.

I think they continue to execute their free agency plan. They still have plenty of cap space.

Why this situation is BS is that standard practice is to do the medicals before agreeing to the trade. By no fault of the #Raiders or Maxx, he now looks like damaged goods.

Per league source: Maxx Crosby did not pass his physical with Baltimore. The Ravens were reportedly “frustrated” with the outcome and have expressed concerns about how the Raiders disclosed his medical status.
