@BacardiCapital As simple as it is, the last line literally changed a lot of my psychology in trading.

A trader thinks that the prices of eggs are going to increase, and so he contacts his broker and asks him to buy 1,000,000 egg futures at $1.70 Sure enough, a week later, the price of egg futures is $2.50, and the trader, happy to ride his winners, places an order for 3,000,000 more egg futures Next month, at $4.30 a piece, he pats himself on the back and restructures his liquid investments to buy another 10,000,000 egg futures At the end of the quarter, egg futures are trading at $7, and the trader finally calls up his broker and tells him to sell them all The broker replies: “To who? You’re the egg man!”

BREAKING: Egg prices crash 97% from March 2025 all-time high, now at a 10-year low.

@ulxma People actually have considerable access to water even though it might not be very pure, they don't just know not drinking enough of it amplifies their body odour....... And should be the cheapest way to attack it

The “body odour pandemic” we’re witnessing in Nigeria is largely a result of poverty and limited access to water.

@n6oflife6 And then you really want to ask those deep and silent questions.... A foreign country has better Intel than our security outfit. I don't also want to rule out the weirdest possibility nobody is talking about....

The goal of a good defensive security is to buy you enough time to escape to safety not necessarily as a permanent shelter. Any sec falling short of that is a myriad. The ultimate form of permanent defense is aggressive attacks. Play accordingly

I detest bigotry in any form and anyone found culpable should be punished but legally. Unfortunately, the jury is here without rules. They turn blind eyes to a group and crucify the others. Yet some riffraff among them usually asks which tribe are you before even engaging. BS

@eldivine You better ignore these guys. Everyone is free to run with their propaganda. If anyone has a case against you, let them step forward and bring evidence along. Making assumptions and you pandering to it would only make you vulnerable even when you are not wrong.

This is my comments from last year. I can pull up every tweet of mine from 2010. There is no single part of me that is bigoted to anyone over their ethnicity or otherwise. I understand that context matters and we are actively discussing internally about the current issues but you can search my tweets and all you'll see is my well documented love and respect for Yoruba people and every other Nigerian ethnicity.

Davido married Igbo. Asa Asika married Yoruba. That's the type of cross pollination that will make this country great. When I'm president, there will be tax incentives to encourage this kind of intermarriage.

Poverty has a very wicked way of making its victims look smart just bcos they are trying to survive. Unfortunately, what they realize at a later stage is their reality is unique to them only & is mostly backdated in time so they have to spend most of their time updating reality

So if you want to renounce being a Nigerian, you have to pay Nigeria's official renunciation fee, which is ₦2,000,000. They won’t even let you go for free.😂

@elliot_solution Dark days of Anambra. The type of God fatherism existing there back in the days, one would never expect that state to be liberated.

A Nigerian governor was kidnapped in broad daylight. Not by criminals. By his own political godfathers. They drove him to a forest in Anambra State at midnight. Took him inside a shrine. Forced him to swear an oath in front of a deity called Ogwugwu. The oath said: you won because we put you there. You will do what we say. If you betray us, you will die. He signed. He became governor. His name was Chris Ngige. One year later in August 2004 police raided that same shrine. What they found stopped the country. 83 corpses. 63 of them had no heads. 20 loose skulls scattered across the forest floor. Then they found a register. Names. Dates. Amounts. Governors. Senators. Businessmen. Some of the most powerful people in Nigeria had been coming to this forest to swear oaths over stolen money and political deals. If you swear on Ogwugwu and break your oath, the priests come for you. 31 shrine priests were arrested and paraded in Abuja. Not one politician was questioned. Not one governor was charged. Chris Ngige later became a Senator. Then a Minister under Buhari. The shrine is still there. This is Nigeria. 🇳🇬

Nigerian Stocks on Bamboo
Ellah Lakes, VFD Group and UPDC snubbed by investors in dividends rush. If you are wondering what moves the price of Omatek despite reporting ₦2.2 million revenue last year, it's mere speculative retail money betting on price action rather than current fundamentals.
