The Mandalorian and Grogu is several episodes of the show stitched together. Stars Wars on the big screen needs to be more than that.

@TheOnlyKenrick The original film didn't really have a comedy relief character. There were funny moments between Conan and his friends, but none of them were solely their for jokes. Destroyer on the other hand...😅

I absolutely love Conan the Barbarian. One of my favorite films ever and such a perfect 80s dark fantasy movie. Really hoping the King Conan movie captures that same tone, atmosphere, and aesthetic. Comparing it to Unforgiven sounds incredibly promising too.

I really have to single out Inde Navarrette's performance in Obsession. Emotional, layered, and completely terrifying. One of the standout performances of the year.

I was really looking forward to Is God Is, but I was left disappointed by the movie. It's a passionately messy effort that squanders strong individual performances in service of a flawed, uneven script and direction. Good performances from Sterling K. Brown and Vivica A. Fox.

I definitely have my critiques and issues with The Boys Season 5 overall…but I thought the finale was pretty solid. Not perfect, but it gave several characters satisfying endings, especially Antony Starr's Homelander.
