@GNutsofHorror I really liked the institute and the Mr Mercedes/Bill Hodges trilogy. I also feel terrible for saying it but I preferred Dr. Sleep to the Shining but thought both were superb. I've only read around 8 so far and have pretty much loved all of them

For those who love snacking on things you can pretend are healthy, may I recommend @AldiUK jalapeño peanuts. Outrageous levels of (un)healthy snack 👌

Heard someone say recently that rather than focusing on making life last as long as possible, the focus should be on how we can enjoy & appreciate each day to the maximum. Really made me think.

Finally decided to crack open the old novel again. Storming the last couple of days. Nothing better than when the writing just happens. Got to make the most of it before the inevitable wall 🧱

Following the hyping up of yellowface I've learnt my lesson and moved on to this underground author I've discovered. "Dune" - reckon it could be a hit one day!

@HaLoTeachLearn More the guilt! I bounce from one thing to another. This is coming up to 2 years in the making and I'm just over halfway through the vomit draft. Lots of fun though. I do envy the illustration side of things. But then it'd be another shiny thing to take my attention!

@ChrisJWriting The sticking to one thing at a time? No! Haha I WISH that I could but I’ve got multiple PBs going, an MG, illustrations, and just started the first page of a new MG that I couldn’t get out of my head. It’s a problem 😂😂 The guilt thing? Yes! I wish I had more time for it all!

Finally got round to reading Yellowface. Always find when a book gets so much hype it can never quite live up to it. Enjoyed it but probably would've been better if I didn't know so much about it already. Worth a read 👍🏻
