This made me chuckle! Today I sat with my Nan (93) hearing stories about many generations of nurses in my family and she showed me my Great Grandma's certificates. At the bottom of this document from the 1920's is a supplementary register for male nurses!

@NurseStandard @NSeditor Agree with lots of commenters, it's not the biggest problem in the NHS right now and everyone should introduce themselves. It also doesn't include our medical colleagues and I think there's often confusion there too, as a male staff nurse I often got called doctor for example.
