If you've paid any attention to what I've said for weeks, you know I want the war to end immediately. So of course I'm glad if this ceasefire holds. That's not inconsistent with pointing out that we are worse off now than before the war started and that's it bad if Iran controls the Strait. I've been 100% clear there is no military means to reopen the Strait and the only way forward is for Trump to stop the war. I think it's important to point out how ham handed this entire endeavor has been - and how nobody should see Trump's actions as some expert manuever in war making and statecraft.
