48 threads → 60k followers.
5 hook writing mistakes to avoid next time you write a story thread:
• Not having a scroll-stopping, simple first line
• Not teasing a small, pivotal moment that comes way later in the story
• Not adding a “But” / Twist
• Not having a clear, exciting angle
• Not highlighting a specific pay-off to show why they should read
• Not adding “This is [person]:” (Nah, I’m kidding ;)
If I'm honest...
Before I took a copywriting job, I couldn’t get anyone to read my posts – for 2 years.
I always thought: fuck it, I’ll do it on my own.
But then from May to September this year at Wingspan Media, I:
• Spent hours improving with client work, and
• Ghost-wrote 48 threads to take a client 0 to 60k followers.
I won’t lie – it was a long climb. A lot of learning.
But that’s when people started asking who was writing for his account.
Lesson:
Hooks that tell a specific story with a specific angle can open up a lot of opportunities for you.
Hooks that don't? They waste your time and effort.

@TaylinSimmonds If given no thought, we default to what seems necessary.
But a lot of times what seems necessary now is just zapping your energy.
Because even if takes only 5 minutes...
How many other 5 minute tasks will it also lead to?

@holistic_men "Trapped in a routine that has the outcome of underperforming" 🔥
The outcomes we don't want are just bad habits we're finally paying for.

@viggofredrikson It seems obvious enough.
But then again:
Action is the last thing you want to face when you've gotten cozy living in your head.
The time will pass anyway. Why not put it to work?

Definitely feel like i've come close to it before - wild how many problems can spring up from that tired, demotivated feeling all by itself
