@philiejp @gelliottmorris 2 reasons. 1) No public plan on the marketplace for private insurers to compete with. 2) SCOTUS tossed out the mandate, the pool size is too unpredictable for insurers to set steady rates. The private sector will never fully meet a public need.

I proudly wore the uniform. From one veteran to another, people are tired of this @SecVetAffairs using VA and veterans used as props to settle political scores. Silencing VA workers doesn’t do anything to help veterans — it just makes it easier to cut staff and services.

@michaelbuck1990 @Ireland_Votes We 35 to 44 folks in pretty much every place on the planet lived through austerity and its effects while we were trying to start careers and families. Anecdotally speaking, and I include myself, a sizable chunk of us are further to the left than we were 20 years ago.

@Ireland_Votes Strange the 25 to 34 result compared to 35 to 44. Usually people get more conservative as they get older and prefer status quo. Just look at Scottish indepence vote where older voters trended no and women too in higher numbers.
