@indieauntieowl @ThanksCancer Not great tbh. Diagnosed Xmas 22 and had surgery March 23. Unfortunately it had spread and had liver surgery in Oct 23.

An “easy” cancer is like a “minor” hurricane.

@indieauntieowl @ThanksCancer I know what you mean. When I was first diagnosed with thyroid cancer I kept reading/hearing about it being the “good” cancer 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

@ThanksCancer As I await my biopsy for a nodule on my thyroid that has calcifications, the amount of people who’ve said oh that’s the best one to get…doesn’t help at all, it’s still scary as hell

May 24 Final game of the season. In the end the result didn't matter much when the sun is shining, the beers are two for one and you start to get pangs of hope and excitement for next season. It was nice to have a years holiday in the Prem, but back to the proper stuff now.

Despite relegation and despite the shit aspects of the Premier League, I've had one of the most enjoyable seasons of my 27 years as a ST holder. Every home game and ten away games attended - here are some of my personal highlights...

@ThanksCancer Don’t get me wrong. You should try to eat as healthy as possible. But you’ve also got to treat yourself whenever you want. Cancer will go wherever it wants to. Unless you’re chowing down on asbestos food doesn’t really make a difference. Don’t eat asbestos!!

I’m all for eating healthy and exercising and maintaining an ideal weight and not smoking or whatever, but I don’t believe that it will *prevent* anything because I have seen way too much evidence to the contrary.

If I couldn’t prevent my cancer in the first place, how could I possible “prevent” a recurrence?

@grassrootsrefJa @alinalmeria Not necessarily. There are laws within the game where a common sense approach can be used. Decisions like this is why people question the refs and get frustrated.

This is why referees can never win. Fans change what they want from a referee to suit their agenda. Even though Sam Allison got the decision correct he's still getting criticism for it. Common sense is that the manager doesn't enter the pitch and kick the ball when it is in play

@grassrootsrefJa @alinalmeria I totally agree with what you’re trying to do @grassrootsrefJa but you have to look at context in this instance. It’s a nothing instance 6 minutes into a game. The ref completely over reacts. A booking or even a telling off would have had a move positive reflection for the ref.

@alinalmeria You agenda is criticising referees for getting the correct decision. Either you want the correct decisions or you don't. Will you be fine if the referee in Tranmere's match tomorrow suddenly decides he doesn't like the offside law and stops giving offside decisions?
