Hogan, Gotch, Londos, Inoki, Santo and Rikdozan will or have suffered the same fate. Time marches on. Gotch was pretty much universally regarded as the greatest of all-time at least through the early 70s, but is now forgotten. Hogan will maybe be remembed in 2040 but unlikely in 2100. I think for cultural reasons Santo will last the longest from his peak, but in time he will be forgotten as well.

@davemeltzerWON Part of mainstream is also what lives on from generation to generation Those guys you mentioned although they may have had bigger eras at different times. It wasnt as passed on in public consciousness. Hogan may suffer the same fate in 20 years but that 80s mythos still has life
