After filming my directorial debut in 2023, a crew member told me to prepare to hit a low. I didn’t think much of it but it happened. I hadn’t finished a script since then, so completing this feature script is a pretty big deal for me. Feels like a broke a curse

Wrote 28 pages of this script in 3 days to bring it across the finish line. Everything just flowed. Now it’s time to proofread and after that I’ll send it out to the producers who will make it with me

Enjoyed Carmen Emmi's PLAINCLOTHES, shot in my hometown of Syracuse. A fantastic, meditative look at lonely, anxious late-90s closeted gay life -- I can relate -- with a late twist that gives the title new meaning plus an amazing ending. (And the script was a Nicholl Top 50!)
