@johnnyddavidson Also should be compulsory to have a reserves in super league and participate in a full reserve league week in week out, 1st team players who can’t get a game in super league can play, players returning from injuries etc whole structure needs review

@johnnyddavidson What’s the point of improving player pathways for Eng talent then the NRL can come and steal them at any time. If you get a rough diamond/old good name there is potential to put extra ppl in the stadium= more revenue/shirts. Put more dispensation for reserve/home grown talent

If the RFL do approve an extra quota spot for next year for Super League clubs, then that’s just madness. Already about a third of all the players in the comp are Aussies, Kiwis, from PNG etc, this will just mean less opportunities for English talent. There needs to be a big focus on participation and improving player pathways. Already it’s insane in the Championship and League 1 that there is no quota on foreign players, so lower league clubs are stack with overseas players. To what end? The sport in the UK won’t improve with more average Q Cup and NSW Cup players coming over.
