@davidhoang Congrats! Replit is key to delivery of my Python curriculum for the girls at my school, and I look forward to seeing continued improvements. Most students I teach (11-18) access through iPads and Chromebooks, leaving Replit as one of the few available dev environments.

The mission of bringing the next billion software creators online is close to my heart and one I find great purpose. When I think about tools that revolutionize the way people build software, Replit is it.

Some personal news: I joined Replit as an Operating Partner, Design + Research. I’m excited to partner with @HayaOdeh to bring the best collaborative coding experience to the most accessible operating system—the browser.

@MrAGDBrown Could you share an overview of your esports club? Wondering if I can fit something similar in. Thanks!

@english_maven I found Automate The Boring Stuff really helpful when starting out - check it out on Youtube by @AlSweigart. I grabbed some free Udemy Courses yesterday that I intend to work through too. There were a bunch of free codes I found but they expired yesterday!

Does anyone know of a college / company that gives free courses on #python? I’m learning on my own, but I’d love an actual curriculum I could work online as at my own pace. Unfortunately, it would need to be free :-( Thanks for any help you can give me! #

@english_maven Running input() in an if statement isn't something I would usually do, as you then can't use the user input anywhere else as it is not assigned to a variable! Purely done to show you how it works. Feel free to dm me if you want to run through anything else.

@english_maven line 3, your input() is not being compared like you think it is in the line 4 if statement. You have to either assign the input to a variable (q1 as I assume you have intended), or run the input() in the if statement:
