Today marks the beginning of a new tax year in the UK - 2026/27 tax year. A fresh start and a clean slate.… for most people in employment, a moment that passes without a second thought. But if you work multiple jobs, pick up agency shifts, or have any income source outside your main employment, this is the moment to pay attention. Without the right steps in place, your tax allowance, the portion of your income you are entitled to earn tax-free, can end up split in the wrong places, or worse, exhausted entirely before your main job even benefits from it. I have tried to depict what is happening in the background below. Most UK taxpayer gets a Personal Allowance. For the 2026/27 tax year it remains at £12,570. HMRC communicates this to your employer through something called a tax code, most commonly 1257L. That code is the instruction your employer uses to calculate how much tax to deduct from your pay. The problem is that HMRC does not always know which job is your main one. If you have two or three sources of employment income, they may distribute your allowance across all of them, or assign a basic rate code to your secondary jobs, meaning tax is deducted from the very first pound earned there. In some cases, especially with agency work, an emergency tax code gets applied and you end up overpaying significantly before anyone corrects it. The good news is you can take control of this right now, at the start of the year, before the problem compounds. 📍Here is what to do. Contact HMRC directly, either online through your Personal Tax Account at gov.uk or by calling 0300 200 3300, and inform them which employment is your primary source of income. Ask them to allocate your full Personal Allowance to your primary employment only. Your secondary jobs and agency work should then be coded BR (20% tax) or D0 (40% tax) depending on the tax band, meaning tax is deducted at the flat basic or higher rate, but your main income is protected. If your circumstances changed last year, new job, additional agency contracts, a side income that became regular, do not assume HMRC has the right picture. They work from the information they have. You are the one who knows your full situation. A wrong tax code will not fix itself quietly. It either costs you money month by month or creates an underpayment that catches up with you later. Although, if you overpay, you are likely to get a refund, but that might be much later after the tax year ends. The new tax year is a natural reset point. Use it. Check your tax code today by login into the HMRC tax app. Make sure your main job is the sole beneficiary of the allowance you are entitled to. You earned it. Make sure it is working for you. You need some support with your tax affairs in the UK? Feel free to reach out to me and my team. Have a blessed week ahead! #taxwithrichy

If you're a Data Analyst, Operations Analyst, or aspiring Supply Chain & Logistics Analyst who wants to move from reporting dashboards to driving real supply chain decisions, read this: Dashboards are not enough. Modern supply chain teams promote analysts who can: • Forecast demand under uncertainty • Optimise inventory and release working capital • Model cost-to-serve and margin impact • Quantify supplier and operational risk • Simulate stockouts and lost-sales exposure • Design efficient distribution and network flows Most analysts track KPIs. Very few understand capital and operational impact. So I built the >>Supply Chain Capital Intelligence Blueprint << to move you from metric reporting to operational decision intelligence. A system with two parts: >>1. Supply Chain & Capital Intelligence Framework Learn how real supply chains actually operate: • Working capital & inventory optimisation • Cost-to-serve and margin dynamics • Supplier & concentration risk • Multi-echelon inventory logic • Transport cost volatility • Network design and expansion strategy • Executive operational communication >>>2. The 12-Week Practical Supply Chain Analytics Roadmap Build 10 real-world projects: • Inventory optimisation (capital-focused) • Cost-to-serve modelling • Stockout and lost-sales simulation • Supplier risk analysis • Network optimisation • Demand variability modelling • Capacity and fulfilment analysis • Capital allocation modelling • Service level vs cost trade-offs • Operational KPI system (decision-focused) This is not decorative analytics. This is institutional-level operational intelligence. If you want the roadmap: ➡️Like ➡️Repost ➡️Comment ROADMAP ➡️send me a DM, I’ll share it

Most business owners only hear from their accountant at year end. By then, it's too late to save on tax. If you run a limited company or owner managed business in England, here's what you should actually expect from your accountant: 🔹 Proactive tax planning — not just compliance 🔹 Clean bookkeeping that gives you real financial clarity 🔹 Incorporation advice that protects you from day one 🔹 A trusted adviser who understands YOUR business That's exactly what I offer. Whether you're just starting out or already trading, if you're not getting this level of service, let's talk. 😊

If you’re a Data Analyst, CRM Analyst, or aspiring Marketing Analyst who wants to move from Junior into senior-level commercial impact in the next 12 weeks, read this. 👇👇 You don’t get promoted for building dashboards. You get promoted for influencing revenue. Most analysts stop at reporting: - CTR. - Conversion rate. - CPA. Senior analysts answer: Where should we scale? What should we cut? Why did revenue move? What do we do next? That’s a different level of thinking. So I built a 12-week practical roadmap designed to move you from metric reporting to commercial decision-making. No theory-heavy fluff. No passive courses. No random portfolio projects. Just 7 real-world builds using real datasets: • Campaign ROI & budget reallocation • Conversion prediction (lead scoring) • A/B testing with statistical confidence • RFM segmentation for retention strategy • Churn risk analysis • Cohort retention modelling • Marketing mix & incrementality thinking By the end, you’ll have: • 6–8 commercial case studies • A strong public portfolio • Clear KPI fluency • Interview-ready impact stories This is how you transition from “analyst” to revenue operator. If that’s your goal, reply ROADMAP, REPOST, and I’ll share it to your DM.

If not that I have a good motivation for writing this exam ni, I would have stopped. Paying £500 for distance learning tutorial for 1 paper(cheapest) is a lot😭😭. But my motivation is what will make me continue. Adding CTA to my name and earning £50k annually is my motivation 🤣🤣 Guess it’s time to grind💪
