The Roman Catholic Sacrament of Baptism: Against cults and heresies 💦Baptism is the first of the seven sacraments in the Roman Catholic Church and the necessary gateway to all others. According to Catholicism, a person cannot be exposed to “Jesus” (‘The blessed sacrament’, the wafer god) because he or she is under the influence of evil spirits. The ‘priests’ exorcise the demons by anointing the person (ie a baby, or infant) with oil and putting salt in the mouth to preserve from the future influence of evil spirits. 👉🏼Then the person (ie baby) is baptized with water. It is at this point, the baptized individual is supposedly cleansed of original sin, made a child of God and an heir of heaven, PROVIDED he or she dies in grace. So according to Catholic ‘Tradition’, the newly cleansed is made a member of the body of Christ, because HE/SHE WAS immersed in WATER—something physical and earthly. The person water baptized in the Catholic Church at that very moment becomes a member of the Roman Catholic Church and is now considered “born again”. Apparently, this WORK is REQUIRED for SALVATION of the SOUL. But is that true according to the word of God??? 📖 WHAT THE AV BIBLE SAYS Baptism by water is undergone by believers in Christ to show, or publicly display, their identification with Him in His death, burial, and resurrection. There are no infant or child baptisms by water in the word of God. People hear the word of God, believe first, and then are baptized by water AFTER BECAUSE they have already BELIEVED on Jesus and are BORN AGAIN. Please read all of… 🚩Matthew 3:11; Luke 3:16-there are more than one baptism and Jesus told us 🚩John 3:5–the new birth is by water (first birth) and spirit (2nd birth) 🚩 Acts 8:36-38–the eunuch only can be baptized IF he believes first. 🚩Romans 6:3-10–baptized into Christ’s death by the Spirit. 🚩Ephesians 4:32–there is only ONE baptism in the Church The baptism that puts anyone into the body of Jesus Christ, or causes one to be born again, is spiritual and an operation of God, not of man or man’s works. The salvation offered to people goes into effect by the baptism and sealing of the Holy Spirit. 📖 1 Corinthians 12:13 (KJV) “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” 📖 Galatians 3:27 (KJV) “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” 📖 Colossians 2:12 (KJV) “Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.” The only WAY to deal with “original sin” is to become a BELIEVER in the Lord Jesus Christ, HIS DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION, with the FORGIVENESS of ALL SIN provided by the BLOOD of Christ. Salvation of the soul is by God’s grace and not of works—it is NOT by water! ———————————————- NOW, What is the Gospel to saved? “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)” “In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead” (Colossians 2:11-12). “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”(Romans 1:16)

The Only Savior Acts 4:12 KJV “Neither is there salvation [of the spirit and soul now, and future body, soul and spirit] in any other [making “Jesus Christ of Nazareth”, Acts 4:10, God, see Psalm 106:21: Isaiah 45:15]: for there is none other name under heaven given among men [evinces the narrow way, who is the Person of Christ; John 14:6], whereby we must be saved [“must”, as there are no alternatives].” There is only one Savior, and that is Jesus Christ, the Risen King! Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:11)! He is also Wonderful, Counselor, and the Mighty God (Isaiah 9:6). Come to Jesus today, regardless of your condition or circumstances. He has taken away ALL YOUR SINS WHEN HE DIED ON THE CROSS, SHEDDING HIS BLOOD, AND RISING AGAIN TO ETERNAL LIFE.

Psalm 112:10 KJV The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish. The Wicked Shall See It… The wicked, the “gnashing of teeth” and that he does “melt away” all speaks of a conscious agonizing torment, of fire, and darkness. This is exactly what is seen in Abraham’s bosom. Luke 16:23 KJV says, “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” Jesus also spoke to the Pharisees about them being cast out of the Kingdom yet able to see the patriarchs. In Matthew 8:11-12 KJV, the Lord Jesus Christ says, “And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Takeaway: Hell is a continual theme throughout Scripture. No one has to GO TO HELL. It is a place of continual pain and regret, and unceasing sorrow and torment. Believe the Gospel! Receive Jesus Christ, the Son of God for the forgiveness of your sins, believing that God raised Him up on the third day.

Psalm 112:3 KJV Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. I believe Psalm 112:1-3 addresses primarily Millennial Kingdom saints. 🌺The King is reigning and the law is going out from Zion, Jerusalem 🌺The saints and their children during the reign of Christ that “delight” in the law will benefit with great prosperity and great earthly blessings, including fruitfulness of children. 🌺 These saints and have a standing with God beyond the “righteousness of the Pharisees”.

2 Samuel 19:43 (KJV) And the men of Israel answered the men of Judah, and said, We have ten parts in the king, and we have also more right in David than ye: why then did ye despise us, that our advice should not be first had in bringing back our king? And the words of the men of Judah were fiercer than the words of the men of Israel.

2 Samuel 19:19 (KJV) And said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart. “Not my lord impute iniquity unto me” Psalm 32:2 and also taught in NT salvation—Romans 4:7-8; 2 Corinthians 5:19. Said of Shimei to King David, a Benjamite of the house of Saul, who stoned and cursed David when he reached Bahurim in his flight from Jerusalem on the occasion of the rebellion of Absalom (2 Sam. 16:5-13). After the defeat of Absalom he "came cringing to the king, humbly suing for pardon, bringing with him a thousand of his Benjamite tribesmen, and representing that he was heartily sorry for his crime, and had hurried the first of all the house of Israel to offer homage to the king" (19:16-23). David forgave him; but on his death-bed he gave Solomon special instructions regarding Shimei, of whose fidelity he seems to have been in doubt (1 Kings 2:8, 9). He was put to death at the command of Solomon, because he had violated his word by leaving Jerusalem and going to Gath to recover two of his servants who had escaped (36-46).
